Placemats or a full tablecloth?

A full cloth dresses the table and hides it, which is ideal when the table underneath is nothing special. Placemats show off a table you like and are far easier to wash, so they win for everyday use.

Do they really protect from heat?

They protect from warmth, not from a pan straight off the hob. For anything genuinely hot, use a trivet on top: no fabric is a heat shield.

How do I clean it?

Deal with stains while they are fresh, cold water, and no tumble dryer if there is a print. Most tablecloths are ruined by a stain left until the next day rather than by the washing.

How many should I buy?

Two, if you use them daily. One is always in the wash exactly when you need it, and that is how a nice tablecloth ends up living in a drawer.

How long does delivery take?

We hand the parcel to the courier within a maximum of 48 working hours from the moment your payment is confirmed. Delivery then takes 1 to 2 working days in mainland Spain and 4 to 10 in the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla. Shipping costs 4.95 euros in mainland Spain and 6.95 euros to the islands, Ceuta and Melilla, and it is free from 30 euros. We currently ship within Spain only, so if you need us to send an order somewhere else, write to [email protected] and we will tell you what we can do.

What if I get it wrong?

You have 14 calendar days from receiving the order to change your mind, no explanation needed. Just email [email protected] and we will walk you through the return.
