About us

Hello! I am Amparo: mad about interiors, a traveller, a gig-goer, addicted to shopping, to TV series and to my iPhone. On paper I have a degree in Sales Management and Marketing, but I identify much more as an entrepreneur with a head full of crazy ideas.

After several years working in a family business, I jumped in at the deep end with a project called Happyideas, shouting "let us do it and see what happens". "Who leaves a permanent job with a good salary?", people said.

How Happyideas started

That is how Happyideas was born in 2010, as a hobby that needed more dedication every day, more hours and, above all, more space. I went from a house full of boxes to a decent office and warehouse. The path seemed to build itself, little by little. If something is meant for you, everything flows.

What Happyideas is today

What started as a crazy idea is today a shop full of original gifts and home decor with a sense of humour, with a physical shop in Ontinyent (Valencia) and an online shop that delivers throughout Spain. Here you will find funny gifts and charming little things for every occasion: mugs, candles, doormats, stationery, accessories and a thousand more ideas to surprise someone and make them smile.

What I like most about my job

What I like most is that it still feels like my hobby. And although my father still thinks his daughter "sells junk", it is a website of junk that makes me very HAPPY. Because in the end our mission is very simple: we love seeing people happy. Happy people!
