This policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use on www.happyideas.com, what they are for, and how you can accept them, refuse them or change your mind at any time.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that a website saves in your browser when you visit it. It allows the site to remember information about your visit, such as the language, the contents of your basket or whether you are already logged in. Under the same heading we include other tracking and device storage technologies, such as pixels, tags or the browser's local storage.

2. Legal framework

The use of cookies is governed by Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 of 11 July on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE), which requires your consent to install any cookie that is not strictly necessary. The processing of the personal data obtained through them is governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and by Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December (LOPDGDD). We also follow the criteria of the Spanish Data Protection Agency's guidance on the use of cookies.

This means that analytics and advertising cookies may only be installed after you accept them, that refusing them must be as easy as accepting them, and that you can withdraw your consent whenever you like.

3. Who installs the cookies?

We distinguish between our own cookies, which we install from our own domains, and third-party cookies, installed by external providers who supply us with payment, analytics or advertising services. Over the latter we have no direct control of the processing carried out by the provider, so we link to their own policies in the table in section 5.

4. What types of cookies do we use?

Technical or strictly necessary. They allow the website to work: keeping your session, remembering the contents of the basket, managing the purchase process, ensuring payment security and remembering your cookie decision. They do not require consent and cannot be disabled from the panel, because without them the shop does not work.

Preference or personalisation. They remember options such as language or currency.

Analytics or measurement. They allow us to know how many people visit the website, which pages they view and how they move around it, in aggregate form, so we can improve it. They require your consent.

Advertising and targeting. They allow us to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns and to show you ads suited to your interests inside and outside our website. They require your consent.

By duration, cookies can be session cookies, which are deleted when you close the browser, or persistent cookies, which remain for the period indicated in the table.

5. List of cookies used

Cookies are loaded through Google Tag Manager. You can consult the third parties' privacy policies on the pages of Google (policies.google.com/technologies/cookies), Meta (www.facebook.com/policy/cookies) and Stripe (stripe.com/privacy).

This list may change if we add or remove a service. We review the table periodically and update the date in the heading.

6. International transfers

Google, Meta and Stripe may process the data obtained through these cookies outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. These transfers are covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, or by the standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission.

7. How do you accept, refuse or change your decision?

The first time you enter the website we show you a panel with three options: Accept all, Reject all and Let me choose, from where you can separately enable or disable performance and analytics cookies and advertising and targeting cookies. The strictly necessary ones always appear active because the shop does not work without them.

You can change your decision whenever you like from the cookie settings panel. If you delete the cc_cookie cookie from your browser, we will ask you again on your next visit.

8. How do you delete cookies from your browser?

As well as the panel on the website, you can block or delete cookies from your browser settings. These are the usual paths:

• Google Chrome: Menu → Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
• Mozilla Firefox: Menu → Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
• Safari: Safari → Settings → Privacy (on iPhone and iPad: Settings → Safari → Privacy & Security).
• Microsoft Edge: Menu → Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
• Opera: Menu → Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.

Almost all browsers also offer a private browsing mode, which does not keep cookies when you close the window.

9. What happens if you disable them?

If you disable technical cookies from your browser, you may not be able to log in, keep your basket or complete a purchase. If you refuse analytics and advertising cookies, the shop will carry on working normally: we will simply stop measuring your visit and personalising ads.
