Handmade soy wax candle in a jar with an evil eye, 226 g

Two hundred and twenty-six grams of sustainable soy wax in a hand-painted ceramic jar carrying the Turkish evil eye, the charm that by tradition wards off bad luck. The candle is made by hand and burns for around 50 hours.

The scent is the most spiced in the collection: white grapefruit, mandarin and cinnamon on opening; clove, spiced orchid and tonka bean at the heart; frankincense, myrrh and cedar at the base. It smells of a temple, in the best sense.

Why it works as a gift

It is a charm and a decorative object at once, which gives it a symbolic weight almost no thirty-euro object has: you give it to wish luck in a new home, in a new job, or through a difficult stretch. The jar stays for good even once the candle is gone.
