Cream Snoopy on his doghouse melamine cup

The most iconic image of all: Snoopy lying on top of his doghouse, lost in thought (probably about dinner). A cream melamine cup with yellow details from the official collaboration between rice and Peanuts, with all the charm of the classic comic strips. It measures 9 cm high and 9 cm in diameter: perfect for small hands and just as handy for big ones.

Melamine is light, really sturdy and quick to clean, so it survives rushed breakfasts, park picnics and the odd crash landing on the floor without any drama. It’s food safe and BPA free. Just one thing: no microwave and no freezer – Snoopy is quite particular about extreme temperatures; maximum temperature 70 ºC.

Why it makes a great gift

A sure hit for Peanuts fans of any age: for little ones learning to drink on their own, for grown-ups who never stopped reading Charlie Brown, or to brighten up a desk as a pencil pot. And watch out, it has siblings in the collection (green, yellow, pink, blue and cream): the risk of wanting the whole set is very real.
