«Ciao» coir doormat, 70 x 40 cm

Striped doormat with the message «Ciao», made of coir (coconut fibre) with a non-slip backing and measuring 70 x 40 x 1.5 cm. Coir scrapes shoes clean and traps dirt before it reaches your living room, while the non-slip backing keeps it in place even when you rush in. Each doormat is hand-painted using stencils and sun-dried, so every one has its own little handmade touch.

Why it makes a great gift

It's the perfect gift for someone who has just moved into a new home, or for anyone who daydreams about escaping to Tuscany. Useful from day one, effortlessly pretty and with a greeting that turns any door into the entrance of a real trattoria. Warning: may cause sudden pasta cravings.

Care

Designed for indoor or covered areas: direct sunlight and rain may fade the colour over time. Clean it dry with a brush, no water and no washing machine. At first it's normal for it to shed a few coir fibres; it's part of its natural character.
